The OptiMate 2 DUO x 2 BANK (model TM574) is a fully sealed automatic battery charger with four independent charging stations, each delivering 2 Amps of charge to four batteries of your modern motorcycle, ATV, car, boat or bakkie. Each station's fully automatic plug-and-play design and smart DUO technology means all you must do is connect it to a battery and then the OptiMate2 DUO charge station independently and automatically adapts to the battery type/chemistry and size, brings it to full charge and then OptiMate’s proven 24-7 ‘connect & forget’ safe care makes sure your vehicle’s battery remains ready. You can connect two different types or sizes of battery.

DUO : smart battery sensing technology that automatically adapts to any type of 12V lead-acid (Pb) battery, as well as to the 12.8V/13.2V lithium (LFP/LiFePO4) battery in your motorcycle or sports-car. 

EASY : no buttons, no guesswork – just connect and the smart 5-step program does the rest automatically!

SAFE: Smart electronics protects against accidental reverse polarity connection. No sparks if clamps touch as the output stays off until it is connected to a battery with voltage of 4V or higher.

LOW VOLT START: Will charge a battery from as low as 4V. Pulse recovery that is safe for vehicle electronics.

SMART CHARGE: With 2 amps of constant current and ability to automatically reduce to 1 Amp if it senses a smaller battery, each charge station recovers, charges, and maintains its connected battery 24/7 — ensuring longer battery life, maximum performance, and trouble-free starts.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY: Efficient variable frequency fly-back power conversion reduces power usage and if left connected to AC power, standby power per bank is less than 0.5W. OptiMate saves you money in electricity cost!

• Independent - 4 completely separate chargers in one enclosure. Each station can charge a different type or size of 12V battery.
• Charge current - 8 Amps combined ; each station delivers 2 Amps constant current with automatic adjustment down to 1 Amp if small battery is sensed.
• Universal 12V lead-acid Battery Compatibility – Works with STD / flooded / wet-cell with removable filler caps (for adding distilled water) and sealed/maintenance free EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) & AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat).
• Lithium LFP/LiFePO4 12.8V/13.2V** Battery Compatibility – Automatically adapts DUO charging algorithm if Lithium LFP battery is sensed, including low voltage recovery and Lithium friendly 24-7 maintenance. Lithium batteries don't need continuous maintenance charging, OptiMate 2 DUO monitors the battery hourly and if it needs charge (below 70%) it brings it back up to 90% for extended life. (Lithium battery capacity and life reduces if kept at 100% when not used). ** nominal voltage is 12.8V (4 x 3.2V), but some battery brands claim 13.2V (4 x 3.3V).
• Safe for Sensitive Electronics – No overcharging, spark-suppressed and short-circuit protected.
• Global input (100–240 V, 50 -60Hz) - connect with Type-C European 2-pin plug. The only connection between stations is on the AC supply side inside the enclosure. Each station has its own internal fuse protection.
