The OptiMate 5 6/12V Select (model TM320) fully sealed automatic battery saving charger is the smart EASY TO USE all-rounder for the 6V & 12V batteries in classic car or motorcycle, equipment, or your daily use vehicles and pleasure craft. It delivers up to 4 Amps at 6V, or up to 3 Amps at 12V, but the Ampmatic control can also adjust current lower for smaller batteries in your motorcycle or personal water craft.

Best of all, it can save a dead-flat sulphated battery from as low as 0.5 Volts! 

Its fully automatic very smart plug-and-play design and safe-for-vehicle-electronics technology means all you must do, after you made the right battery voltage selection, is connect it to the battery and the OptiMate5 Select automatically saves, charges, tests the battery and then OptiMate’s proven 24-7 ‘connect & forget’ safe care makes sure your vehicle’s battery remains ready.

AmpMatic : smart current control technology automatically adjusts current from 3A at 12V, or 4A at 6V, down to 1A to charge smaller batteries - smaller battery gets less current, bigger battery gets more!

LOW VOLT START & PULSE RECOVERY SAVE: Saves a dead-flat battery from as low as 0.5V, with smart pulse recovery charge reversing sulphation so that the battery can once again accept normal charge.

SMART Selection: Selection remains in memory after you disconnect from the battery or if disconnected from AC power. Connect to the same battery and it charges automatically, or if AC power goes out whilst it was charging or maintaining your battery and AC power returns, it automatically continues charging according to the memorized selection. No supervision required!

AUTOMATIC: Connect to your STD flooded / wet cell, AGM, GEL or DEEP-CYCLE battery and the 8-step smart program does the rest automatically!

SAFE: Smart electronics protects against accidental reverse polarity connection. No sparks if clamps touch as the output remains off until it is connected to a battery with voltage. It protects against accidental connection to the wrong voltage battery; it won't charge a 6V battery if 12V is selected.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY: Efficient variable frequency fly-back power conversion reduces power usage and if left connected to AC power, standby power is less than 0.5W. OptiMate saves you money in electricity cost!
