The OptiMate 7 Select (model: TM250v3) fully sealed automatic battery saving charger is our most versatile and powerful all-rounder for the 12V batteries in all your vehicles and craft. To get you going quickly it can deliver 10 Amps of fast charge safely to the battery of your bakkie or boat or car, but the Ampmatic control can also adjust current lower for smaller batteries in your motorcycle or personal watercraft.

If you have a high-performance AGM battery you can select a higher charge voltage to ensure it performs right.

In the winter it will automatically adjust the charge voltage a little higher so that your batteries perform better or lower in summer to prevent overcharging. 

Best of all, it can save a dead-flat sulphated battery from as low as 0.5 Volts! 

After making the charge voltage selection (that remains in memory until you decide to change it), its fully automatic very smart plug-and-play design and safe-for-vehicle-electronics technology means all you must do is connect it to the battery and the OptiMate7 Select automatically saves, charges, tests the battery and then OptiMate’s proven 24-7 ‘connect & forget’ safe care makes sure your vehicle’s battery remains ready.

AmpMatic : smart current control technology automatically adjusts current between 10A and 1A to charge any size of 12V lead-acid (Pb) battery - smaller battery gets less current, bigger battery gets more!

T°-Matic: Automatic temperature regulation : Charge voltage (14.4V / 14.7V) & maintenance/float voltage (13.6V) set at default temperature of 25°C, with adjustment of -18mV / °C above or below that.

ADVANCED: default 14.4V charge voltage works for most batteries, no selection required, OR, select 14.7V for performance AGM or DEEP-CYCLE batteries and then connect to the battery and the 9-step smart program does the rest automatically!

SMART Selection: Selection remains in memory after you disconnect from the battery or if disconnected from AC power. Connect to the same battery and it charges automatically, or if AC power goes out whilst it was charging or maintaining your battery and AC power returns, it automatically continues charging according to the memorized selection. No supervision required!

SAFE: Smart electronics protects against accidental reverse polarity connection. No sparks if clamps touch as the output remains off until it is connected to a battery with voltage.

LOW VOLT START & 2-STEP SAVE: Saves a dead-flat battery from as low as 0.5V, with smart desulphation to get the battery to accept charge, followed by pulse recovery charge to bring it back to life.

SERVICE : select 13.6V power-supply mode for battery support during auto-electric faultfinding.
