The OptiMate Lithium LFP SELECT (model TM270v2) is a battery saver & fast charger built specifically for 4-cell-in-series (12.8 V / 13.2V) & 5-cell-in-series 16V LiFePO₄ lithium batteries. With 10 A at 12.8V and 7.5A at 16V maximum current and advanced Ampmatic control, it is ideal for charging and maintaining high performance LFP lithium batteries in sports cars & race vehicles. The Ampmatic control can also adjust current lower for smaller batteries used in sports motorcycles and racers.

In extreme temperatures charge current is reduced to protect your lithium LFP battery that needs a slower charge below O°C or above 45°C.

Best of all, it can save a dead-flat lithium battery automatically from as low as 0.5 Volts and at a push of a button it can reset the BMS (battery management system) of a lithium battery with built-in deep discharge protection.

Its fully automatic very smart plug-and-play design and safe-for-vehicle-electronics technology means all you must do is connect it to the battery and the OptiMate Lithium LFP SELECT automatically saves, charges, tests the battery and then OptiMate’s proven 24-7 ‘connect & forget’ safe care makes sure your expensive lithium battery remains ready and well protected.

AmpMatic : smart current control technology automatically adjusts current from 10A down to 1A to charge smaller batteries - smaller battery gets less current, bigger battery gets more!

LOW VOLT START & LITHIUM-SAFE RECOVERY: Saves a dead-flat battery from as low as 0.5V with lithium specific recovery that reconditions the battery to once again accept normal charge. During reconditioning it tests cell health is good it continues reconditioning, but if permanent damage is found, it will stop charging to prevent overheating of damaged cells.

BMS RESET: Pushbutton activated BMS reset pulses for a battery with smart battery management with deep discharge protection.

TUNE MODE: power support mode at a fixed 13.6V for fault finding or updating of vehicle software. Selectable if battery is 50% or more charged.

AUTOMATIC: Connect to your Lithium LFP / LiFePO4 battery and the 10-step smart program does the rest automatically!

SAFE: Smart electronics protects against accidental reverse polarity connection. No sparks if clamps touch as the output remains off until it is connected to a battery with voltage. Testing during recovery mode will prevent battery overheating if damaged. Selection voltage protection won't allow a 12.8V battery to automatically be charged if 16V is selected.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY: Hi-tech industrial level power conversion with power factor correction & synchronous rectification makes this 120W battery charging platform one of the most efficient in the industry.
