The OptiMate MONITOR O-128 is a weatherproof permanent battery lead with integrated state-of-charge and charging system monitor for 12 V lead-acid (AGM, Gel or STD) batteries. It provides continuous status indication of your battery’s condition and charging system with 4 LEDs, while also offering a standard SAE quick-connect charge port for easy connection to OptiMate chargers and maintainers. Ideal for your parked car, pick-up truck, boat or off-road vehicle – 24-7 battery status at a blink of an LED!

• Displays charge system status when engine is running – Easy pre-run check at a glance to see if battery is receiving charge.
• 2 automatic Modes – Battery charge level monitor (single LED blink mode) & Charging system test (arrow mode).
• Integrated 4-LED battery status monitor — provides real-time indication of battery state-of-charge (from “empty” to “full”), with the active LED blinking every three seconds in storage mode.
• Vehicle storage: 4 LEDs cover ‘full to empty’ voltage range of all 12V batteries, including higher voltage AGM for power sport (4th √√ LED ≥ 12.7V ). LED matching charge level blinks every 3  seconds (long term draw less than 0.2mA).
• Vehicle running: LED arrow mode activates when charge voltage reaches ideal charging voltage; up to minimum 13.5V (√ green LED) or ideal range 14V+ (√√ green LED).
• Length: 100cm lead with M8 / M10 ringlets — fits a wide variety of battery terminal sizes for automotive, off-road, marine and industrial applications.
• 16 AWG / 1.31 mm² cable — robust wiring suitable for battery monitoring and charging connections.
• Thicker insulation for better protection. SPT-2 (1.2 mm) — enhanced durability and resistance to abrasion and environmental exposure.
• Current rating: 15A fuse protection — the integrated fuse guards the battery lead and electronics from over-current situations. 
• Weather- and dirt-protected SAE connection system, including rubber sealing cap and shroud — helps safeguard the SAE connector from water, dust and corrosion, making it reliable in harsh or outdoor environments.
