The OptiMate MONITOR O-124 is a permanent power-sport battery lead with integrated battery status and charge system monitor designed specifically for 12 V lead-acid batteries (including AGM, GEL and standard types). It provides real-time LED battery condition feedback and includes a weatherproof SAE quick-connect charge port so you can instantly check your battery’s status and easily connect a charger when needed.

• Length: 60cm cable length
• Vehicle storage: 4 LEDs cover ‘full to empty’ voltage range of all 12V batteries, including higher voltage AGM for power sport (4th √√LED ≥ 12.7V ). LED matching charge level blinks every 3  seconds (long term draw less than 0.2mA).
• Vehicle running: LED arrow mode activates when charge voltage reaches ideal charging voltage; up to minimum 13.5V (√ green LED) or ideal range 14V+ (√√ green LED).
• Operation: 2 automatic Modes – Battery charge level monitor (single LED blink mode) & Charging system test (arrow mode).
• State of charge:
  • Battery status indication every 3 seconds (LED blinks).
  • Battery status indication for high performance AGM.
  • Ideal charge range with engine running - 13.5V to 14.5V.
• M6 / M8 battery ringlets — fits a variety of powersport battery terminal sizes for secure, permanent attachment.
• SAE quick-connect charge port — allows any OptiMate SAE-equipped charger or maintainer to be easily plugged in without removing the monitor. 
• 18 AWG / 0.82 mm² cable (cable diameter) — reliable and flexible wiring for battery monitoring and charging applications. 
• Thicker insulation for better protection. SPT-2 (1.2 mm) — enhanced protection against abrasion and environmental exposure.
• Current rating: 15A fuse protection — integrated fuse guards the cable and monitor electronics for safe operation.
• Weather- and dirt-protected SAE connection system, including rubber sealing cap and shroud — helps safeguard connections from water, dust and corrosion, making it reliable in harsh or outdoor environments.
• Rated for –40 °C — cable and electronics remain flexible and functional even in very low temperatures.
